Life in Hong Kong

Hey, welcome to this week’s post. This is Maya and this my first post I wrote by myself.Today I’m going to talk to you about my latest order here in Hong Kong and about what I have been doing throughout the Cny Holidays as well as how the pandemic is here.

New Order-

On instagram someone dmed me and ordered some scrunchies(you can also shop if you want a link to instagram page on our profile)and we agreed to plan a meet up soon after the holidays and when the corona in hK gets better. We thrift scrunchies and I sold her 3 scrunchies(yellow,teal,pink) set with a hand cream for 20$hkd.This sunday i packaged the set and decided to postpone the meet-up because of the start of school.

Cny Holidays-

During the Cny Holidays, I went to Hoi ha beach in Sai Kung. It's a very small beach in Sai Kung in Hoiha village. If you ever do visit Hong Kong, you can visit the bigger sites like the ferries, the IFC but I suggest you go to places like Saikung, Hoi ha and HK zoo. In Hoi Ha village you can hike to a campsite in Mongkok or you can go kayaking. There is also a pier where you can take a trip on a boat with a glass bottom so you can see the fishes and sea creatures. We went climbing onto rocks near the beach and took some insta pics. On the way back I dropped my airpods and iphone into the sea. I managed to reach in and fetch my phone, but my airpods were too far down and were stuck in the rocks. My phone was wet and not working at first but I used this hack that you can try out -

Step1-Dry your phone with tissues and use cotton buds and suck water from the plug-in holes and others.

2-If your phone still doesn't work you can try putting your phone in a rice cooker and cook the rice

3-take your phone out hopefully it works!!

Well our trip ended soon after losing my airpods to the sea and nearly losing my phone as well. We headed home.I may actually get some new ones:?

In HK the pandemic isn’t getting better but I feel like there will soon be another wave of cases coming, hopefully we don't have to go back to online school.

Don’t lose hope, maybe two years later we will finally be able to step outside without masks:)
